Just a little correction to this story. This was not the brush fire started by the city’s fireworks display. This was started by someone shooting firework out of the back of a pickup, driving down I-240. The city did have a much smaller brush fire just behind the fire station, on Eagle Street. Both fires were extinguished quickly.
