Rural Carolina (Taken with Fujifilm X100)

A few rural shots of western North Carolina taken with a Fujifilm X100. Overall I’m loving this camera and am really impressed thus far. I’ll be posting more photos with it in different environments.

Montreat, NC – Lake Susan

Here are some photos of Lake Susan in Montreat, North Carolina. It’s that beautiful time of year in certain parts of western NC when the fall colors are at their peak. It’s also a great time for photographers to bask in the saturated yellows, oranges, and reds of autumn!

Kayaking in Western North Carolina

One of the many benefits of Asheville and Western North Carolina is enjoying the good ol’ outdoors. There are activities that appeal to all enthusiasts: climbers, mountain bikers, cyclists, or even casual hikers. This post is dedicated to kayakers, so I dove in to my photo archives and found a few kayak photos to blog. Not knowing a lot about the sport (except that “kayak” is a palindrome and it’s a thrill to photograph) I am going to refrain from giving advice on the subject. Instead, I provided you with a few useful links after my photos.
